Nym-J 3x15 mm2 and Nym-J 5x15 mm2 are types of electrical cables commonly used for indoor wiring in residential and commercial buildings. The "3x15 mm2" and "5x15 mm2" indicate the number of conductors and their cross-sectional area in square millimeters. The "Nym-J" designation refers to the specific type of cable, which is a PVC-insulated and PVC-sheathed cable suitable for fixed installations. These cables are typically used for power distribution and lighting circuits. **

Yes, press connectors are allowed for NYM cables. NYM cables are commonly used for fixed installation in dry or damp environments, and press connectors provide a secure and reliable way to connect these cables. Press connectors are designed to ensure a proper and safe connection, making them suitable for use with NYM cables in various electrical installations. However, it is important to ensure that the press connectors are compatible with the specific type and size of NYM cable being used. **

To fix a NYM-J 5x6mm cable surface-mounted, you will need to first identify the location where the cable is damaged or needs repair. Once you have located the issue, carefully cut out the damaged section of the cable using a cable cutter. Next, strip the insulation from the ends of the cable using a wire stripper and connect the new section of cable using appropriate connectors. Finally, secure the repaired section of the cable to the surface using cable clips or cable ties to ensure it is safely mounted. **

The allowed power limit for the NYM cable depends on the specific type and size of the cable. However, in general, NYM cables are designed for low voltage applications and are commonly used for indoor electrical installations. The power limit for NYM cables is typically determined by the conductor size and insulation material, and it is important to consult the manufacturer's specifications and local electrical codes to ensure the cable is used within its allowed power limit. **

The permitted power limit for the NYM cable depends on the specific type and size of the cable. Generally, NYM cables are designed for low voltage applications and have power limits ranging from 450 to 750 volts. It is important to consult the manufacturer's specifications or local regulations to determine the exact power limit for a specific NYM cable. **

Nym 4x15 cables with blue insulation were installed until 2006. After 2006, the color of the insulation for Nym 4x15 cables was changed to gray. This change was made to comply with updated industry standards and regulations. Therefore, any Nym 4x15 cables with blue insulation found after 2006 may be considered outdated and may not meet current safety requirements. **

The weight of the copper in a NYM cable can vary depending on the size and length of the cable. However, as a general estimate, the copper in a standard 1mm² NYM cable can weigh approximately 8.7 kilograms per 100 meters. This weight can increase or decrease based on the gauge and length of the cable being used. **

The weight of copper in a NYM cable can vary depending on the size and length of the cable. On average, the copper content in a standard NYM cable can range from around 60% to 70% of the total weight of the cable. This means that for a typical NYM cable, the copper can weigh approximately 60-70% of the total weight of the cable. **
